Inclusive Research Initiatives at ACCA: Engaging the Public in Avian Studies.

The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia (ACCA) is dedicated to conserving wild birds in the region through research, education, and rehabilitation efforts. Our projects, which include nesting studies (Turkey Vulture and American Kestrel), toxicology research, rehabilitation success monitoring, and movement ecology, all integrate educational components to engage the community.
