About the event
This program will feature several graduate students from West Virginia University, including Spencer Parkinson and Andrew MacKenzie, who have completed or nearly completed their Master's thesis research projects, and Kirstin Palumbo, who will be starting her first field season this year. Altogether, WVU graduate students are conducting bird-related research that spans multiple habitats (from wetlands to forests) and focal bird species (from songbirds to wild turkeys. Each graduate student will give a brief talk that provides an overview of their research and results. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to learn about bird-related WVU science!
